What is a SuperUser

Superusers are nominated members of staff who will have enhanced access to the configuration areas of IDEAS, and a central role in the initial configuration process. Mellowood will help you configure User Rights, which control access to individual areas within IDEAS.

Superusers are generally members of staff who have authority to make decisions impacting on workflow, or have a forum to discuss them at. This will be important in the configuration phase of a new clinic installation.

We recommend that a clinic nominates at least one SuperUser from each department (administration, clinical, nursing and laboratory), and this person be a point of contact when feeding back comments, issues or questions back to Mellowood staff.

SuperUsers will also facilitate train general users in their clinic, with the help of Mellowood staff at new installations of IDEAS.
