Same-Sex Couples
Since male patients can now be entered, for a male-male couple, one of the males is entered as the patient, and if their partner is providing sperm, their demographic information can be entered as the partner information under the Patient Entry screen.
For female-female couples, the oocyte source should be chosen as the patient. If both partners provide eggs, enter the other partner as a donor patient, link the donor, and select the donor type as Female Partner – Egg Source.
The partner demographics can also be entered as the gestational carrier if they were the recipient of the transfer.
