INT1102 How-to populate the worklist on your GE Voluson U/S machine

All ultrasound records in IDEAS scheduled AND CONFIRMED for today will appear in the worklist on your ultrasound machine. When you select the scan from the worklist, perform the scan and complete appropriately, the results (measurements and images) will be exported to IDEAS to populate the patient file.
Open the Management Module and filter on Ultrasound records to view all scans scheduled for the selected day. The scans displayed in the management module will all appear in the worklist, as long as they have been confirmed in the treatment plan
Go to the Worklist on the Voluson.
Note: Only scans selected from the worklist will be exported back to IDEAS. If a patient does not appear in the worklist, you must open IDEAS and add a planned u/s record with today's date in the Ultrasound folder of their patient file. Ensure the ultrasound record is saved and confirmed. Return to the ultrasound machine and refresh the worklist, by pressing Search, until the patient appears in the list. The patient should be visible within a minute or two of saving the u/s record in IDEAS.
Select Search to refresh the Worklist.
Select the patient from the Worklist and then click Start Exam.
Perform scan as usual and select End Exam once complete. Ending the exam will trigger the export of the ultrasound data (images/measurements) into IDEAS.
The data should populate the IDEAS ultrasound record within a minute or two. You will need to refresh the record to see the new data once received. Press
in the main IDEAS toolbar to refresh.
