Configuration QIVF

Before data can be collected into the QIVF form, a number of clinic defined lists need to be mapped to the matching QIVF option to ensure data correctly populates the QIVF form in IDEAS. 
These lists are found under File > System configuration.

In the following lists, an option from the SART dropdown needs to be selected to map all existing clinic defined list options to a corresponding SART option. 
Go to File > System Configuration > Lists and select each of the lists shown below to configure for SART collection.

Complications (treatment)

Required for QIVF form fields 51-56 

used if the answer to field 49 Complications is yes

Below is the QIVF list - this should be configured into the list 'Complications (treatment)

  • OHSS —hospitalized

  • Paracentesis

  • Infection

  • Bleeding

  • Ovarian Torsion

  • Tromboembolic disease

  • other serious complications

Drug protocol (treatment)

Required for patient medication on the ART treatment tab.

Below is the QIVF list - this should be configured into the list 'Complications (treatment)

  1. Stimulated (historical not specified)

  2. Unstimulated

  3. Antagonist

  4. Agonist

Drugs, tests, and procedures

Some drugs and investigations need to be properly configured to correctly pull medication information and test results into the SART form. 
Go to File > System Configuration > Drugs, Tests and Procedures and configure as shown below. 

 

Drug classification

Agonist drugs


Ensure each drug has the correct 'Drug class' associated with it as well as an ATC code in the Product Code field (see below lost)

Antagonist drugs


Ensure each drug has the correct 'Drug class' associated with it as well as an ATC code in the Product Code field (see below lost)


Antiestrogen drug


Ensure each drug has the correct 'Drug class' associated with it as well as an ATC code in the Product Code field (see below lost)  

Aromatase inhibitors


Ensure each drug has the correct 'Drug class' associated with it as well as an ATC code in the Product Code field (see below lost)

Drugs within treatment plans

Applies to all medicines used for treatment.

all drugs used in treatment plans need to be configured in DTP with an ATC code in the Product code field

Applies to all drugs used for treatment and for adjuvant drugs.

For total dose of gonadotropins, see variable 44. Other medicinal products only by ATC code.

 

Outcomes

QIVF Pregnancy outcome list

  • Ongoing viable pregnancy

  • Ectopic pregnancy

  • Spontaneous abortion.

  • Legal abortion.

  • Spontaneous fetal reduction before 13 weeks.

  • Spontaneous fetal reduction week 13+0 – 21+6.

  • Stillborn child week 22+0 – 27+6.

  • Induced fetal reduction.

  • Stillborn child at week 28+0 or more.

  • Live birth.

  • Unknown (lost to follow up)

This should be reconciled to the list in IDEAS

Medicines used in IVF / QIVF with ATC codes

All drugs used in treatment are entered with a daily dose, adjuvant drugs by name only. There should also be an "other" to be able to enter, for example, new medicines.

Green = drug to be filled in with total dose.
