Gamete Movement In - No Inventory available
When performing a GM-I , you may find at times that the patient / donor doesn’t have an inventory of gametes to import
Example
It is essential that you select the correct options or enter the precise details
Where Is the patient / donor that you need to import gametes - registered at
The type of gamete to import
The centre which exported the gametes
The centre where the patient / donor has been registered with the HFEA (usually the same as .3 )
The exact registration number of the patient / donor where they were registered ( in .4)
The Inventory available
In this case, you can see that there is no inventory available in the IDEAS PRISM Portal
Nothing available in IDEAS PRISM PORTAL to select for Gamete IN - how to investigate
If there is nothing available in the inventory in IDEAS PRISM Portal, you will need to investigate what type of issue this is;
There is nothing available in IDEA PRISM Portal but when i look at HFEA PRISM, there is something available - THIS SHOULD BE REPORTED TO MELLOWOOD
There is nothing available in IDEAS PRISM Portal and when i look at HFEA PRISM there is also nothing available in the inventory to import - THIS IS AN HFEA DATA ISSUE AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO PRISMSUPPORT@HFEA.GOV.UK FOR THEM TO INVESTIGATE
How to investigate HFEA inventory data
To further investigate the issue, you will need to log into the HFEA PRISM Portal ( https://prism.hfea.gov.uk/ ) - for information on how to do this click here FAQs & What's New in IDEAS PRISM Portal | How do I access the HFEA PRISM site for my clinic?
If you do not have an account, you will need to speak with the HFEA PR at your centre and request that an account be setup for you.
Once you have logged into the HFEA PRISM Portal - follow these instructions
Select Movements / Movement In from the side panel
Enter the details in the fields provided (using the same information that you tried with the IDEAS PRISM Portal) - click Search
If successful, you will see a table with an inventory of 1 or more gametes - however in this case, there is nothing available based upon the data you entered.
