IDS5215 Cryo - Search Icon on Toolbar
You will need to search the cryobank at times, to retrieve material for use, adjust consent expiries or even disposal.
Click the ‘binoculars’ icon on the toolbar. The Search dialog opens as shown below. While it offers 3 pages, only 2 are available at this time. The "Advanced" page, discussed below, offers additional refinements to the basic search criteria you enter on this page.
General tab

Defaulting to "all", it also offers items which are self-explanatory. Choosing one of these limits the search to the item specified. This list is fixed and can’t be altered.

This dropdown will display the names of all patients that are recorded as having samples stored in the clinic.

This entry line has a field in which you may type (or copy/paste from the main form's "Container address" field) or a "Code path". It also has a button (3-dots right of the entry field which you may click to use the Select container dialog to choose the container.
The container specified (or selected through the dialog) and any of its subordinates will be searched for the criteria displayed in "storage item:" and "Patient/Donor:".
Please note: If you leave this blank then all containers will be searched.
Search for donors only: - When this checkbox is ticked then the search will be further limited to donors only.
Donor matching tab
When the storage item is a oocyte or semen then the Donor Matching tab will be activated.
Advanced tab
You can use this table to select more restrictions to the search.
