Andrology - Semen Analysis Folder

The Semen Analysis folder contains three separate sections

Each new record in the semen analysis folder is called an Investigation (this could be a fresh sample, thawing of a frozen sample, or receipt of a frozen sample from another clinic).

Each investigation automatically gets allocated a unique sequential number prefixed with SEM.

Each investigation can have procedures associated with it - these procedures are added in the bottom grid of the page

Top section

This section displays a record of all the investigations associated with the patient/donor.

You can see;

  • the unique specimen umber

  • an icon for easy identification of what the investigation is

  • some summary details of what has been documented in the associated procedures

  • When the sample is associated with a treatment cycle, the recipient will be displayed here too.
