Linking semen analysis to treatment cycles

If sample is to be used for insemination in a treatment cycle;

Prerequisites;

Treatment Cycle

• Must be an active treatment cycle in the patient record

• Sperm provider should be identified in the Gametes tab of the treatment plan - Tx cycle - Gametes tab

• Relationship must be established between the patient and the sperm provider - DD - Relationships Tab

Semen Analysis folder

• There must be a semen analysis investigation created

• Purpose in the semen analysis from must be ‘Treatment’

• two new fields will appear under the ‘Purpose’ field

• You will then select the recipient and recipient cycle for this sample - this will link the sample to the treatment cycle

• the partner/donor should have been identified in the Gamete Source tab of the treatment cycle for the cycle to be available here
