Config. - Drugs, test and procedures (DTP)

To configure Drugs, Tests & Procedures , go to File>System Configuration>Drugs, Tests & Procedures

This area of configuration will be prepopulated by default by many items.

There are three types of items in this area; drug, investigation tests & other.

The list can be ordered alphabetically by double clicking the ‘Type’ heading.

Clicking on an item in the top window, will display specific information about in the panel below.

As part of configuring your system, all items in this area should be reviewed, and removed if not relevant.

Drugs, tests and procedures (DTP) tab

There are 3 different item types in this section of configuration; Drug, Investigation test and Other.

When configuring this area to suit your clinic processes and workflow, the items of each type should be reviewed firstly to determine if they are relevant to the processes at the clinic. If not they should be soft-deleted, as described above. If they are relevant, details in each tab should be completed.

Labels tab

Label text

You can add text here that can be printed onto a label associated with the item.

Text for the web - related to patient portal;

You can add text here which will show in the Portal in association with this item. See

DTP config - 'Other' and the Patient Portal

DTP config- 'investigation tests' and the patient portal

Send SMS/Send email - related to patient portal;

These tick boxes are correlate to those in the top half of the screen - changing in one location will update the other, and the text for emails and SMS to accompany the item can be set here.

Ticking any of these boxes associated with a item means that the patient will be able to see this item if it is in their treatment plan, and would get SMS or email reminders as selected.
