  • IVF Insemination

  • Stripping for ICSI

  • ICSI

  • Fertilization Check

  • Observation

  • PGD Biopsy

  • Assisted Hatching

  • Embryo Transfer

  • Cryopreservation

Lab Event choices are only editable by Mellowood Medical. Contact support@mellowoodmedical.com if you wish to make changes.

Lab Event Grid Columns & Headings

Column visibility and order is configurable and for each lab event you can configure the columns and headings to suit your processes. Changes made will be evident for every user in your clinic.

Any configuration changes will be global and all users will see the new configuration Headings, without a corresponding checkbox, cannot be removed from the data table. These are essential for the specified laboratory event.

Columns can be:

  • Removed from view

  • Reordered

  • Resized

Some headers may be too narrow to read due to monitor size or resolution - follow this link for tips on adjusting Column header adjustments - width, order and visibility .

Hiding unused columns

If a data column will never be filled out for this event;

  • right click the column heading and select Hide to remove the column from view for all users

Ordering visible columns

For those columns you do wish to use;

  • Right click on the column heading and select Column Settings.

This view allows you to select which columns you want visible and also to change the order of the columns to match your normal order of data entry.

The double headed arrow in the grey box allows you to move the order of the columns and the green tick allows you to choose if you see or hide the column.

Some columns are embedded and not editable

Adding a user-defined field/column into a lab event

You may wish to add a column to a lab event to collect some data about the eggs or embryos at that lab event stage. This is known as adding a user-defined field, and will result in a new column in the grid for that lab event type.

  • Select a patient with an existing treatment cycles and lab events

  • Go to Treatment cycles > Laboratory details and select the event in which the extra field has to be added.

  • Add the name of the field, the type the width and precision (decimals)

  • Click on save

  • Click on Select Fields

  • Check the new field: it will be added to the fields in the event
