Config. - CPT/Billing code

CPT codes or billing codes are used when entering billing procedures in IDEAS using Encounters or within the Billing folder.  

When configuring billable items in the Drugs Tests & Procedures section of IDEAS, you may want to add Billing or CPT codes to the items, on the Invoice tab (for more information on how to configure billable items click here Config - Billing in DTP items .

If the CPT code is not available in the dropdown, you can add this to the dropdown by right-clicking and selecting Edit List. This will open the CPT code list where you can press New to add a new code to this dropdown.  

Note: If the 'Edit List' option is not available on the Right-Click menu, you may go to the list directly from System Configuration > Lists > CPT Code.
