IDS6211 - Progress Templates - Template tab
The Template tab of a Progress Note Template allows you to record some overall information about that particular template including where it should be available in the patient record.
IDEAS V7 additions
There are a couple of difference in IDEAS V7
Link to Tx cycle by default
You can now opt to link a Progress Note to a treatment cycle by default
Obsolete Item
You can soft-delete A Progress Note by ticking ‘obsolete item’ rather than delete
Name:
It’s important to give the template a recognizable name that everybody will see what it means.
Autofill Query:
With the autofill query you make IDEAS fill in certain questions automatically with information that is already recorded somewhere else in IDEAS;

Edit
This will open the query designer and will give the user the opportunity to edit the Query or import/export a query.
Category:
Categorisation of Progress Note Template allows them to be more organised and easily found.
Categories will show when opening a Progress note, and will help with ease of location.
Categories are defined on editable list found at File>System configuration>Lists>Progress Note category. For more info click here Config. - Lists .
Categories can be coded so that any PNs allocated that category will be displayed in the patient homepage - for more information click here How to - Configuration to display Progress Note links on patient Homepage
Display hospitalization details;
When ticked, if the patient has been hospitalised and this has been recorded in IDEAS, these details will show in the Progress Note when it is created .
Require duration specification;
When this is ticked in a template, then every usage of the template will force that the “Duration” field (in minutes) be filled before the event item can be saved.
Force signoff;
When this button is invoked the user must sign off the Progress Note before they can save and close it
Available in folders;
This defines which folders will show this template, in the patient record.
To add more folders choose the option from the dropdown and click on Add.
To remove a folder from the list, select the folder and click on red X .
