Patient Homepage - Demographic Slice
This is the bar along the top of the screen which shows the most important information relating to the patient, regardless of the ‘page’ of the patients file you are viewing.
There are various sub menus accessible via the demographic slice, in a vertical list. Clicking on these links will change the information shown on the right hand side of the demographic slice, highlighted by the black frame below.

This can be linked to Progress Notes - more about this is Progress note templates
Gravidity is defined as the number of times that a woman has been pregnant and parity is defined as the number of times that she has given birth regardless of whether the child was born alive or was stillborn. There are only 3 phone numbers visible. When a "temporary phone number" is present and the dates relevant to it fit within the current date then it too will be displayed. |
Physicians | This shows the physicians related to the selected patient. This information is taken from the physicians/staff tab of the demographic details folder, as indicated by the highlighted areas below. |
Financial | Shows information from the billing section; |
More Info | This one is different than the others in that it will fill the space below the "demographic slice". To remove the display once you have found what you want in it, simply click the "More info" link again. Alternately you may click on any other "link" or the "X" button at its upper-right. Note that much of what is shown in this display comes from the "Progress Notes" folder of the patient's file. |
Demo slice and portal registration
If the patient has been registered with the patient portal, this will be indicated by an icon to the far right on the demo slice
