Lab Event - Observations

Prerequisites for Observation laboratory events;

• There must be eggs or embryos in the cycle - either via egg collection/egg thaw/embryo thaw

• You must be in the Laboratory Events folder to be able to create a new event

• Open a new laboratory record and select the Observation event type - there may be different observation days available.

• If you wish to use embryo grading, you must have a scheme configured for that particular day Configuration - Embryo Scoring Templates

• Click ‘New’ in the toolbar

• Select ‘Observation’ event type - there may be multiple options with names for specific days

• Complete top section - end time, supervisor and procedure room are not mandatory

• Check that the Day & Date is correct for the observation

• Click Apply

• Complete your data entry in a similar way to that shown below.

• click Save and Close.
