Identifying the Gametes to be used in the treatment cycle

  • Enter ovum source and semen source into the Gametes tab, using the drop down menus.

 

You must first identify any semen sources (partner donor etc) in the Relationships tab in the Demographic detail folder (DD - Relationships Tab  

 

  • If frozen sperm is to be used, left click the tick box and select the desired semen sample.

  • If the semen source is a donor, it is recommended that you select the particular donor here (you should have already created a relationship - DD - Relationships Tab )

Update in IDEAS 7.0.14 and above

  • You are now able to identify a secondary sperm source on the Gametes tab

  • You can select a trigger type - type rather than specific name. This can be useful for analysing cycles retrospectively e.g. to determine if a certain trigger type results in higher egg yields, increased pregnancy rates etc
