Tx cycle management - IUI / AIH Insemination

Treatment Cycle must be created in the patient record, with defined treatment type on ‘Intended Treatment’ tab.
Start date and trigger (or natural surge) date and time must present in the Treatment Plan tab, and therefore luteal day 0

Gamete sources for this treatment cycle defined in the Gametes tab Tx cycle - Gametes tab
Any relevant relationships defined in the relationship tab DD - Relationships Tab
Semen analysis is created on the record of the sperm provider AND is linked to the treatment cycle
ALWAYS check that the luteal day 0 date is correct - this influences all the dates of laboratory events.

IUI insemination

Select the IUI treatment cycle in the patient record

You will notice that only an insemination section is available in the Treatment cycle folder - there is no lab event section

Ad template or individual items, if you use this functionality in IDEAS - IDS6301 - Lab Products

This is usually completed by the clinical staff carrying out the procedure

Click the Insemination section
Click ‘New’
Complete the IUI record , including identifying the semen sample used to inseminate

To note, this is an editable list, it is NOT related to the catheters recorded in the Lab Products Section

This is manually entered , it is NOT connected to the Lab Products Section
